Reporting Emails with Chip! (Cybernut Phishing Email Reporting)

Cybernut is a phishing platform for training staff to identify "phishy" emails, and giving them a report button to identify emails that may or may not be a phishing email. We are going to show you how to report these emails with Chip, the Cybernut Mascot and also the icon of the report button.

First, pull up the email that you believe is phishing. In the top right of the email, you should see a squirrel icon. If you do not, click on the 'waffle' icon and it should bring up the squirrel.

When you click this, it will bring up the following side panel. Go ahead and click the report button.

Next, it will bring up a small questionnaire asking about the phishing email and if any links were clicked, if you had to sign in, etc. This is not meant to get anyone in trouble. This is just to give IT an idea of what parts of your account may be compromised, if any.

Check the box that applies best and click the report button. Lastly, you'll get the following message once you have successfully reported the email.
