Scanning your computer for Viruses/Malware using CrowdStrike Sensor

  1. Go to your desktop and Right Click on your background. Click on the Shgw more options button from the menu that pops up.
  2. This will bring up the following menu. Click on the Crowdstrike Falcon malware scan option and then, Scan all drives
  3. You should get a notification in the bottom right of your screen letting you know the malware scan has started. Note that this scan may take awhile. Once it is done, you should get another notification saying the scan has completed. You can continue working on other things while this process goes on.
  4. The notification should say if it finds suspicious files. If it does, it will alert us to take further action, if necessary. If you missed the notification and want to check the report, you can do this by repeating steps 1 and 2, but instead click the See results from last scan option.
  5. If this scan does come back with suspicious files, or if you feel that there is something wrong that the virus scan may have missed, feel free to submit a ticket and we can take a look.
