This article will cover how to print from a USB drive on our multi-function printers.
NOTE: You can only print PDF files from USB and not word documents. If you wish to print word documents are any other file type, I recommend converting it to a PDF first.
- Once you have your PDF file on your USB drive, plug it into the printer. Usually the USB port is on the side of the touch screen.
- Once you plug it in, it will take the printer around 30 seconds before it will let you see the contents on the USB drive. This symbol at the bottom of the printer will be flashing while it is doing this. Once it is ready for you to proceed, the symbol will stop flashing.
- Once the printer is ready, go to the home screen and find the "Print/Scan (Memory Storage Device)" button. If you do not see this on the home screen, you may have to sign into Papercut first for it to appear.
- Once you click this, click "Print from Storage Device"
- Next, select USB
- After this, you should see the folders from your USB drive pop up. Find the PDF you wish to print and click the green "Start" button on the right side to start the print.
