To add a printer, first be sure you're on the MCS network (and not MCS-Public or MCS-Events).

If you're not able to connect to the printer while on the MCS network, you may need to re-add the printer.
Q: Why do I need to add a printer if I used to be able to print to that printer?
A: If a printer was replaced by Thermocopy, you'll need to re-add the printer even if it was previously installed on your computer. 

To add a printer, first open file explorer  - the little folder icon on your taskbar that looks like:
When you open file explorer, type
\\mcsps
in the search bar like this and hit enter


You should then see a list of ALL the printers in the district. You can narrow it down by typing JS in the search bar like this:

Next, find the appropriate printer you're looking for. The naming convention is JS for John Sevier/SH for Sam Houston/FH for Foothills, then MFP for multifunction printer or P for just a regular printer. Double click on it, and it should install your printer. If you were trying to install the Sam Houston printer in the custodian closet, for example, you would double click on this one:
