Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, we are switching to a rolling update model for our devices. This means that you will occasionally be prompted on the device to run updates.
If you are on top of updates, whenever you run them they shouldn't take any longer than 10 minutes or so. However, if you let them build up they could take longer.
To run updates, search for Check for Updates on the taskbar
Whenever you have updates, they will be displayed in a list on this page. Click the download and install button whenever you are ready.
Note that this will load and install updates, but some updates require a restart after to fully apply them. For these updates, you will be prompted to restart when it is ready. If you do not fully restart the device and let it come all the way back up to the login screen, then it may try to finish updating at inconvenient times.
Once it finishes and you log back in, you should see the following screen signifying that you are up to date.
