How to report a suspicious email using the Phish Alert Button.

First... why the Phish Alert Button?

It starts an automated process of identifying whether the email is legitimate or malicious, and it can trigger automated proceses to see if the same message was delivered to others and pulling it from their mailboxes, too. It also helps us track and keep a history of issues. If you forward us suspicious messages via your email, response time is considerably slower, and what we usually do is go into your mailbox and submit the message through the phish alert button ourselves.

The Phish Alert Button can be found in a few places. If you're using the Microsoft Outlook Webmail (our #1 preferred way to do your mail), the button can be found in one of 2 places. With the message open, it will be either A) in the toolbar next to the emoji button or B) click on the 3 dots to pull up the message menu, and it will be listed in the menu.

If you're on your phone, our supported method for using email is the Outlook Web App. The Phish Alert Button placement is similar in the web app - like below. The Phish Alert Button isn't supported in non-microsoft mail clients.

The Outlook program on your computer is a little harder... We have about 10 versions of Outlook in rotation right now, so depending on the device you're using and the version it's on, this may vary some. In general, placement is similar to the website and the app. First, select the message then click the 3 dots in the toolbar ABOVE the message (not the 3 dots next to Reply/Reply All/Forward) .
