This article will cover downloading the one drive app, signing in with your email, scanning your document, uploading, and then pulling up the picture on your computer.
Downloading the App
The first step will be downloading the Microsoft One Drive App from your phones app store.
Signing In
Once you open the app, you should be greeted with a sign in page like this (note, some of the example pictures may look slightly different on your device)
Please enter your email address in the box above.
Students: This will be the same username you use for classlink and logging into the computer, but with @students.maryville-schools.org at the end. Your password will be the same password you use to login to your comptuer.
Staff: This will be your normal email and password.
Scanning in the Document
To scan in the document, click the camera button at the bottom of your screen. (Note: scanning in the document from the app will convert it to a PDF file. If you would like to upload a picture file, you can click the plus in the top right corner and upload a picture from your gallery, or take a picture in the app.)
Once you do, your camera will open and you will need to take a picture of your document. Be sure to hold your phone above the sheet and make sure there is good lighting in the room you are in. After you click the capture button at the bottom, You will then have the option to adjust the borders around your sheet of paper. Try to get these lines to match as closely as possible to the edges of your paper.
Once you click confirm, it will convert your picture into a PDF. It will then ask you where you would like to save it (I always just do my files, but you could also create a picture folder as well in your onedrive). You can also name the file up at the top.
Finding the picture on your computer
Lastly, you will need to find the picture on your onedrive. The easiest way to do this is to open File Explorer (the folder icon)
Once you do, click OneDrive on the left side bar list. In this folder you should be able to find the file you uploaded.
