If you're getting blocked when you try to search for things online (especially by putting the search terms in  your address bar), your browser is probably using Bing or Yahoo as the search engine. This isn't normally a problem, but sometimes Bing and Yahoo let some *really bad* images bypass our filter, so we've had to block them. 


The best solution is to change your browser's default search engine to Google instead of Bing or Yahoo. 



  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. In the top right, click More More and then Settings. Or, in your address bar, enter chrome://settings.
    • Tip: If there's a Chrome update available, in the top right, you'll find Update . Click Update and then Settings.
  3. Under "Search engine," select Google.




You can verify that this is the problem by clicking "View Details" on the Securly block page you see, and if you're using bing or yahoo it will show up in the address at the bottom of the screen like below:
