IMPORTANT: IT IS NOT SUGGESTED TO LEAVE THIS FEATURE TURNED OFF. When you turn this feature off, students are able to use names that aren't their actual names in your class, and it makes your class susceptible to take-over from malicious folks. If you need to turn this feature off for a meeting, PLEASE turn it back on when finished. If your meeting is taken over because you have disabled this feature, IT will not investigate.
1) Log in to Zoom
2) Click on the Settings Gear in the upper right hand corner
3) Click on "View More Settings"
4) The Zoom settings page will show load in your web browser. Scroll down to "ONLY AUTHENTICATED USERS CAN JOIN MEETINGS" and turn the toggle to the OFF position
5) Once meeting is over, repeat steps 1-4, but set the toggle back to ON.
