Guest Networks:
FHE-GUEST, JSE-GUEST, SHE-GUEST, CGIS-GUEST, MRIS-GUEST, MJHS-GUEST, MHS-GUEST
School visitors are permitted to connect BYOD devices to each school's guest network. If the site you're visiting doesn't have a GUEST network published, it needs to be requested by the school's building-level technology contact (ideally with a day's notice). Credentials for these networks can be received from the school's building level technology contact.
Event Networks:
MCS-EVENTS
The EVENTS network is an open network when we host large events with multiple visitors who aren't a part of MCS. Any time we publish it, masses of students join their phones and laptops, which leads to all sorts of connectivity problems, so we only publish it when necessary. Examples of appropriate times for MCS-EVENTS: Job fair, parent night where parents need connectivity for something, community event, etc.
