On a computer:
Open Chrome and go to launchpad.classlink.com/maryville <--- the /maryville part is absolutely critical
Log in using the student's username and password*
Once you're logged in to classlink, there should be icons for our services that you can select. Clicking on these will log students directly in to these services.
On an ipad:
If at home, download the classlink app from the appstore (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/classlink-launchpad/id524297631 ). On school ipads, it should be installed by default.
When you first launch the app, you'll be prompted to pick your school. If you skip this and try to log in without picking the school, it won't work. You can either search for Foothills Elementary / Maryville CIty Schools, or there's an option to pick school based on your current location where it will take your location and show you schools close to you. Either method should work.
Once you've picked the school, it should have a login page with a logo for Maryville City Schools on the page. Once you get to this screen, use the usernames and passwords to log in.*
Once you're logged in to classlink, there should be icons for our services that you can select. Clicking on these will log students directly in to those services.
*student usernames and passwords are generated with this formula:
Username:
last 2 digits of Graduation year (for second grade this is 30) + first 4 letters of last name + first initial + middle initial
For example, a 2nd grade named Joe Bob Smith would be 30smitjb
Password:
MCS (all caps) + first initial + last initial + lunch number
If 2nd Grader Joe Bob Smith's lunch number is 1234, his password would be MCSjs1234
If folks are still having trouble, the absolute most likely causes are either they are going to classlink.com instead of launchpad.classlink.com/maryville, so they are trying to log in to Classlink and NOT Maryville's Classlink site (or, on the app, not picking their school on the first screen). Second most likely issue is incorrectly inputting username or password (or putting in a totally incorrect username or password)
